Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Functional Analyst to lead and support Production Planning processes within a complex manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP ECC Production Planning solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, planning accuracy, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support SAP ECC Production Planning (PP).
- Manage and optimize Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Bills of Material (BOMs), Routings, Work Centers, and Production Orders.
- Improve capacity planning and production execution processes.
- Support both Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP SD, MM, and WM/EWM.
- Lead system enhancements, production support, troubleshooting, and change requests.
- Facilitate business workshops, gather requirements, and recommend process improvements.
- Create functional documentation, test plans, and user training materials.
- Drive standardization of manufacturing processes and SAP best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on SAP Production Planning (PP) experience.
- Minimum of two full lifecycle SAP ECC implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP PP integration with SAP SD and SAP MM.
- Experience supporting discrete manufacturing environments (highly preferred).
- Strong business process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting complex manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management solutions (WM/EWM).
- Experience optimizing production planning and manufacturing execution processes.
- Background in process improvement and SAP solution design.
