Compensation: $90–$110/hr W2 - NO corp to corp or 1099

Location: Onsite 5 days per week at one of several Southeastern U.S. office locations (GA, NC, SC, VA or FL).

Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity
 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Developer to support enterprise planning and forecasting initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and optimizing solutions within the Workday Adaptive Planning platform while partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable planning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex models, sheets, dashboards, reports, and integrations within Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Build and enhance planning solutions supporting workforce, financial, and operational forecasting.
  • Configure calculations, business rules, assumptions, and planning logic to meet organizational requirements.
  • Integrate Adaptive Planning with Workday and other enterprise systems while ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Optimize model performance and scalability for large datasets and complex planning scenarios.
  • Develop and automate planning workflows, approval processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements of planning solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile delivery teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience delivering HR, workforce planning, financial planning, or enterprise planning solutions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience, including configuration, administration, and development.


Technical Skills

  • Strong experience building and maintaining Adaptive Planning models, sheets, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analytics processes.
  • Experience integrating Adaptive Planning with Workday HCM and other reporting or analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of data transformation, validation, and reporting best practices.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments and following software delivery best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise planning and forecasting initiatives in large-scale organizations.
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Experience supporting planning transformations, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
