Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow FSO Architect to lead the design and implementation of Financial Services solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role requires deep expertise in Financial Services Operations (FSO) and Customer Service Management (CSM), with a strong understanding of financial data models and enterprise architecture within banking and insurance environments.
The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical capability with architectural leadership to deliver scalable, compliant, and business-aligned ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement ServiceNow solutions focused on Financial Services Operations (FSO) and CSM.
- Translate enterprise and business requirements into scalable technical architectures aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
- Lead solution design across financial workflows such as:
- Dispute Management
- Customer Lifecycle Management
- Treasury Operations
- Payments & Card Operations
- Loan Processing
- Claims Processing
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform using:
- Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and other scripted components
- Client-side and server-side JavaScript
- REST/SOAP integrations and ServiceNow APIs
- Develop and support data models aligned with Financial Services Data Model standards.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to support sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and delivery milestones in a virtual environment.
- Participate in requirements gathering, technical solutioning, and stakeholder workshops.
- Drive platform configuration, customization, and implementation activities across environments.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, ITIL, and Service Management frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership in platform governance, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Contribute to CMDB, CSDM alignment, and overall ServiceNow ecosystem design.
Required Qualifications
- 10–14+ years of overall ServiceNow platform experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with FSO and CSM implementations in financial services environments.
- Proven track record designing and implementing at least one end-to-end FSO solution.
- 2–4+ years of direct ServiceNow configuration and customization experience.
- Experience working on ServiceNow FSO projects, including requirements gathering and Agile delivery.
- Proficiency in:
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
- REST/SOAP Web Services integrations
- ServiceNow APIs and scripting framework
- Deep understanding of:
- CSDM, CMDB, and Financial Services Data Models
- Enterprise architecture principles and solution design
- ITIL and Service Management frameworks
- Experience working in Agile/virtual delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience implementing ServiceNow within Banking or Insurance organizations.
- Ability to balance hands-on development with architectural oversight.
- Strong communication skills to interface with technical teams and business stakeholders.
