Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire (No contract/consulting arrangements)
Work Model: Hybrid – on-site day one, then 3 days per week in the office

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Mobile Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions across web and mobile platforms. This role blends test automation, development, and technical leadership, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable applications and efficient delivery practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Build and enhance automation solutions using modern programming languages and testing tools.
  • Define and execute functional, regression, and integration testing strategies.
  • Ensure application quality through scalable automation approaches across multiple devices and environments.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to translate requirements into testable solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices, including maintainability and performance.
  • Support CI/CD integration by enabling automated testing within deployment pipelines.
  • Analyze defects, troubleshoot complex issues, and work with developers to drive resolution.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and help ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to tools, frameworks, and workflows.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience developing automation solutions for web and/or mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or comparable tools.
  • Familiarity with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using version control and issue-tracking systems (e.g., Git-based workflows, Jira-style tools).

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to native mobile testing approaches (e.g., platform-specific frameworks).
  • Experience scaling automation in distributed or cloud-based environments.
  • Background in test framework design, not just execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor teammates or lead technical initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights.
