Salary: $150K–$225K + performance bonuses

A well-established Los Angeles law firm is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Attorney (defense side) to join its growing practice. About the Role
We are looking for an attorney with 5+ years of labor and employment law experience who can manage a diverse caseload from start to finish. The position involves both litigation and advisory work, requiring excellent legal analysis, research, and client service skills. While experience in public entity law is preferred, it is not a prerequisite.

What You’ll Do

• Represent clients in labor and employment defense matters, from case intake through resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including depositions, document review, and trial preparation.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel on a variety of employment law issues.
• Work independently while collaborating with colleagues to develop effective case strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience practicing labor and employment law.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of producing clear, persuasive legal work.
• Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Public entity law background is a plus but not required.
