Location: Dallas, Texas (Hybrid Office Setting) - 2 days a week- Monday and Wednesday in the Irving office
Rate: $60.00/hr.

Job Description:
As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and create visualizations that support decision-making processes. Your expertise in Databricks, Kafka, data visualization, and API consumption will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Databricks and other relevant tools.
  • Implement and manage data pipelines using Kafka for real-time data processing.
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Integrate and consume data from third-party applications via APIs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Implement and optimize Spark jobs, data transformations, and data processing workflows.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Databricks and Kafka.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with API integration and data consumption from third-party applications.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Python or Scala.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks and other Azure services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics.
