Our client is undertaking a major business and technical transformation and is seeking a highly experienced SAP Solution Architect to provide end-to-end solution architecture leadership across SAP and integrated legacy systems. This highly visible role is critical to ensuring the quality, integrity, and performance of SAP business solutions, including S/4HANA, C/4 Suite, IBP, EWM, SAP SAC, and related platforms. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise to a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Provide overall architectural direction and technical leadership across SAP and legacy platforms.
- Serve as the key decision-maker for SAP-related workstreams during the enterprise transformation.
- Collaborate with consultants and vendors to ensure optimal configuration and integration of systems including S/4HANA, EWM, TM, IBP, C/4 Suite, and EDI.
- Partner with system integrators to design, validate, and implement SAP architecture and integration strategies.
- Act as a hands-on thought leader, offering deep technical guidance and conducting internal quality reviews.
Solution Architecture & Management
- Lead and manage SAP architecture domains, including infrastructure/cloud, integration, security, analytics, and mobility.
- Ensure interoperability between SAP products and external systems, addressing both temporary and long-term integration needs.
- Support master data governance and compliance with localization requirements.
- Reduce project risk by defining clear architectural roadmaps, applying best practices, and recommending alternative solutions.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional leadership.
- Guide teams through complex decisions using effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Assess risks and opportunities to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and business capabilities.
Qualifications Required:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing SAP applications in large enterprise environments.
- Proven experience across the SAP ecosystem: S/4HANA, C/4HANA, Digital Supply Chain, etc.
- Broad understanding of functional domains such as sales & marketing, finance, supply chain, distribution, and warehousing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience leading deployments in SAP HANA environments (S/4, C/4, IBP, TM, WM).
- Expertise in modern application and technology architecture in SAP environments.
- Demonstrated success in solution design, implementation, and enterprise integration.
- Experience with business capability modeling and process engineering.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
- Proven ability to drive results in fast-paced, virtual, and cross-functional teams.
