About the Role
We're seeking a Product Manager who enjoys working at the intersection of data infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and software engineering. This role will help shape products designed for technical users, partnering closely with engineering teams to define priorities, gather feedback, and bring innovative capabilities to market.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, technically fluent, and excited to build products in an environment where experimentation and rapid iteration are part of everyday work.
Key Responsibilities
-
Partner with engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery through launch.
-
Define product priorities based on customer feedback, technical feasibility, and business impact.
-
Write clear product requirements and collaborate with developers on execution.
-
Help deliver products that improve data workflows, developer productivity, and AI-driven capabilities.
-
Balance short-term delivery with long-term product strategy.
-
Work closely with technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
-
Monitor product performance and recommend enhancements based on user insights.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in Product Management or a similar product ownership role.
-
Experience launching new software products from concept through release.
-
Previous experience working within early-stage or high-growth technology companies is strongly preferred.
-
Technical foundation through prior experience in software engineering, data engineering, or another engineering discipline.
-
Comfortable discussing technical architecture, APIs, databases, and software development processes.
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
Technical Experience
Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with modern data technologies and cloud-based development environments, including many of the following:
-
SQL and relational databases
-
Data warehousing and pipeline concepts
-
Cloud platforms such as AWS
-
Data transformation and orchestration tools
-
AI-assisted development tools
-
Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern generative AI concepts
-
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, or AI evaluation methodologies
Experience working with technologies such as Snowflake, Spark, dbt, Airflow, or comparable data ecosystem tools is highly desirable.
Preferred Background
Successful candidates often bring a combination of:
-
Experience building products for engineers, developers, or other technical users.
-
Exposure to AI-native applications rather than simply integrating AI into existing products.
-
A hands-on, builder mentality with a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
-
Startup experience where adaptability and ownership were essential.
-
A technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
What Success Looks Like
You'll thrive in this role if you:
-
Enjoy solving complex technical problems.
-
Are comfortable making decisions with limited direction.
-
Regularly leverage AI tools to improve your own productivity.
-
Take ownership of outcomes rather than simply managing a backlog.
-
Have a genuine interest in emerging technologies and modern software development.
