We're seeking an experienced analytics leader who can influence business strategy through data while remaining close to the work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with executive leadership, mentoring a small analytics team, and translating complex data into actionable business decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead product analytics initiatives that improve user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Develop insights around customer behavior, onboarding experiences, conversion funnels, and feature adoption.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to guide strategic decisions through data.
  • Build executive-ready reporting and communicate analytical findings in a clear, business-focused manner.
  • Establish measurement frameworks, KPIs, experimentation strategies, and performance dashboards.
  • Mentor and develop a small analytics team while remaining hands-on with analysis and problem solving.
  • Support data-informed product decisions across the customer lifecycle.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled analytics workflows, to improve efficiency and insight generation.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in product or customer analytics within a consumer-facing digital product environment.
  • 2+ years leading or mentoring analytics professionals in a player-coach capacity.
  • Experience supporting subscription-based products with a strong understanding of recurring revenue metrics.
  • Expertise in product analytics, customer segmentation, funnel optimization, retention analysis, and lifecycle measurement.
  • Advanced SQL skills and working knowledge of Python for analytical workflows.
  • Experience with modern analytics platforms and cloud data environments.
  • Familiarity with experimentation, attribution, and mobile or digital customer acquisition measurement.
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to improve analytics or business workflows.

Preferred Background

  • Consumer mobile application or digital platform experience.
  • Experience in high-growth or venture-backed technology companies.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Background collaborating cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on analytical execution.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate is an excellent communicator who can simplify complex analytical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences alike. They thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving ambiguous business problems, and are equally comfortable leading discussions with executives or diving into the data themselves.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with a business-first mindset.
  • Hands-on leader who enjoys coaching while contributing individually.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Passion for using data to drive product and business outcomes.
