REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in civil site design and drafting is REQUIRED
- Proficiency in CAD software, MicroStation preferred.
- Strong drafting skills and experience in creating detailed plans.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
- Associate's degree in a civil engineering-related field
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently perform design and plan production tasks using CAD at the direction of the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
- Be involved in projects from the conceptual phase, through the initial planning submittals, and final design.
- Work on a wide variety of project types, including private site development, public utility, public roadway, and structural plans. Responsibilities may include:
- Import topographic surveys and creating 3D surface models.
- Exhibit creation and edits.
- Draft project designs with guidance and input from an engineer.
- Perform limited independent design work including grading design and layout.
- Plan Production including sheet set-up.
- Perform work to Company drafting standards with minimal input.
- Perform plan mark-up corrections.
